  • With summer wrapping up, I had the opportunity to go to an OKC Dodger's Baseball (Triple-A, Minor League) game right in the heart of Bricktown, Oklahoma City which is only a 20-minute drive from Edmond, OK. Not only is it great for friends and family fun nights, but it is also a great opportunity for companies, small businesses, and corporations to be able to give their employees some free tickets to a game! I got to go with my boyfriend's company and they provided a buffet bar and beer for free! If you aren't a fan of delicious ball-park food, there are tons of food options located around the area such as Crabtown or The Social Capital! Definitely plan for a full evening if you head downtown because there is so much to do! Use the link below for more information!

A great way to start your Downtown Oklahoma City adventure is at the Exhibit C Art Gallery! Over 4,000 square feet in the historic Bricktown building filled with authentic pieces of artwork as well as artisan works such as jewelry, pottery, paintings, and clothing all handcrafted by Oklahoma's Native Americans.

It's that wonderful time of the year again when you can ride the Bricktown Canal and take in all the beautiful twinkling lights for free. All rides are narrated and holiday-themed and take 20 to 30 minutes as you loop through lower Bricktown.

To board the water taxi you will begin at the dock on the canal level just below the entrance to Mickey Mantle's Steakhouse and Brickopolis located on Johnny Bench Drive between Reno and Sheridan.

Enjoy your free ride on either Sunday, Thursday, Friday or Saturday from December 13th through December 30th from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m.
  • Our real estate office is a big supporter of OKC civic activities and community improvement. One of the best features of being a small business owner in Oklahoma City is being involved with our OKC Chamber of Commerce. If you're a small business owner, then you'll also want to consider this venue for expanding your network, connections and knowledge about Oklahoma City, civic life and business opportunities.

Remember that the event is free and located at HeyDay Entertainment in Bricktown. Start connecting with other movers and shakers in the OKC business community. You'll enjoy this event! See the link below for details.
  • The 34th Annual Omelette Party was a lovely fundraiser. They called it EGGscape to Paradise,
clever, eh? I had the best time in Bricktown last night enjoying and supporting our Oklahoma City Museum of Art. This annual Eggtastic Omelette Party was lighthearted and fun. So many of my favorite restaurants participated and kept the good food coming.

There was an art raffle, rocking live music from The Stars, a break time DJ so never a need to stop dancing, the best gourmet egg dishes, and a flowing open bar. Highly recommended if you love art, eggs and a good time! See you there again next year!
  • Looking for a great family night out? Look no further than an Oklahoma City Dodgers ballgame at the Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark. Come out and see some highly competitive Triple-A baseball. The OKC Dodgers are a step away from the big leagues but produce big league talent. The ballpark also hosts concerts and other events throughout the year like 4th of July festivities and a Holiday time snow tubing. Come on out and see for yourself.
  • Guess what? I'm hungry! I stopped by Earl's Rib Palace after completed showings today. I took a client in for a little pick me up meal and needed to explain the OKC attraction to this exceptional burger and rib venue.

What's to love about Earl's? Locations all over the OKC Metro! I'm partial to the original spot on North Western Avenue and the new location on West Memorial Road in NW OKC, but this Downtown Bricktown location never fails to please. My favorites are the Cheddar Burger with the delicious baked beans as a side! I also think Earl's has great Baked Potatoes (a full meal as an entree) and the ribs are of course...amazing. Cole Slaw and the Fries are easy choices, too! Visit the link below for more details on this popular restaurant!

It's time to strap in and push your boundaries! Climb Up OKC is a set of 90 foot repurposed silos jutting out from the southern tip of our downtown skyline. Coated in an iconic mural painted by local artists Tanner Frady and Rick Sinnett, this behemoth towers next to I-40 and calls for the adventurous spirits of Oklahoma City. As you walk in, you're greeted by a knowledgeable staff and a fully stocked pro shop. This isn't the type of place where they hand you a harness and let you make a go of it. For first time climbers; $27 will land you a climbing pass, harness, shoes, Belay Training and a Full Orientation of all the information you will need to start your adventure in climbing.

Climb Up also offer camps, classes for adults and kids, and even one-on-one training for those willing to go the distance. Whether you want a better date night than the movies; or your heart beats for the next thrill, Climb Up has you covered. Emily and I are by no means expert climbers, but we like to flex our skills at the gym every now and then. It's a fun alternative to the treadmill. Pro tip: make sure your fingernails and toenails are trimmed short, and remember. The shoes are "supposed" to fit tight!

With the holiday season upon us, many of us will soon begin attending many Christmas or Holiday parties. A great place to enjoy the spirit of the season is in Bricktown at the "Miracle" on the Canal pop-up bar located at 103 E California Avenue on the Bricktown Canal. This year, the extravagant scene is back from November 25th through December 23rd, offering an over-the-top Christmas experience that won't be forgotten.

Patrons enjoy specialty cocktails, lights along the canal, Christmas carol sing-a-longs, a magical snow shower every hour on the hour, brunch on the weekends, and the opportunity to have your photo taken with "Naughty" Santa.

Devon Ice Rink is a great attraction located in the Myriad Botanical Gardens in Downtown Oklahoma City. This premier attraction is just one of many events in downtown Oklahoma City in December. All winter long the Devon Ice Rink will be available to the public and also available for private parties. Don't have a pair of ice skates? Not a problem, as there are ice skates available for rent at the ice rink.
  • Tonight I'll be going on a adult cocktail cruise here in Oklahoma City. You think that a landlocked city like OKC would have this? Of course! We have great lakes and most importantly for residents of Oklahoma City, we have our developed and improved Oklahoma River that can be accessed from Bricktown. The cruises are weekly each Friday and Saturday at 5:00 pm! Full cash bar, and great snacks. The theme for all July cruises is Luau and it should be great sailing weather! You can get more details by contacting Oklahoma RIver Cruises at the link below. See you on the water tonight in Bricktown OKC!
  • What is there to do on a warm spring or summer evening? Go to Brickopolis located in downtown Oklahoma City/Bricktown area. This is a family friendly establishment but also a place for adults to hang out if they so choose. My husband and I played mini golf and had a blast. I even got a hole in one! The course is somewhat challenging and is easy enough for all ages. I truly recommend checking out all that Brockopolis has to offer.
  • My husband and I often frequent Bricktown in downtown OKC, and as we were walking one evening after dinner, we stumbled across Exhibit C. It is part art gallery and part boutique. It is operated by the Chickasaw Nation and showcases paintings, jewelry, clothing and Bedre Chocolates. You can learn the history of the Chickasaw Nation while enjoying the incredible chocolates that are offered. As you enter the gallery you immediately sense this is a very special Exhibit. There is no admission...so enjoy your experience and come away with knowing more about the culture and history of the Chickasaws.
  • Tomorrow is the day. Take your family and get down to Bricktown in Oklahoma City for the annual St. Patrick's Day celebrations. So what are some of my favorite picks for fun and food in Bricktown on St. Patrick's Day? The Mantel at 201 E. Sheridan, Bricktown Brewery at 1 N. Oklahoma and Bolero Spanish Grill & Tapas Bar 200 S. Oklahoma Suite 140. Come by Bricktown tomorrow, Thursday March 17th and have so much fun you turn green!
  • Urban Johnnie is another popular bar and grill in Bricktown. Johnnie's Burgers are great and located all over the OKC area, but this one is specifically the "Urban" version! Two levels of eating and watching Thunder Games and other sporting events on 20+ TV's!
  • The Deep Deuce Grill is a great place to go for Thunder game watching and super close to some of the nicest condo's and townhomes in Bricktown. KD,(Kevin Durant of The Thunder), can walk two blocks from his townhome at The Hill to the Deep Deuce Grill, and frequents it a lot in the summer when he is thirsty for water, after he takes a run through the area! The Deep Deuce is one of the best "bar & grills" in Oklahoma City!
