If you are looking for something fun and exciting for everyone of all ages to do this weekend, the 20th annual Septemberfest is the place for you. There will be a wide range of events for everyone to enjoy that include: tour of the Governor's mansion, storytelling, old fashioned games, hay bale maze, carriage rides, petting zoo, live entertainment, rock climbing, laser tag, face-painting, games, crafts, and more. All this to celebrate Oklahoma heritage and culture.The festival is held on the grounds of the governor's mansion, the state capitol, and the Oklahoma History Center. Admission to the Oklahoma History Center is free and all galleries and exhibits will be open to the public with volunteers on hand for guided tours and in-depth knowledge of artifacts. Visitors will enjoy meeting living historians representing cowboys, WWII veterans, land run participants, American Indians, Civil War re-enactors, and antebellum musicians at the History Center.Septemberfest is Saturday, September 10 at the Oklahoma Governor's Mansion on 820 N.E. 23rd Street and the Oklahoma History Center at 800 Nazih Zudhi Drive. Visitors will enjoy free admission. The festival hours are 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
