The Pryor Fire Department is centrally located in Pryor. From this Elliott St location, they can virtually go in all four directions on major roads to get where they are needed. They provide protection for approximately 15,000 residents and handle over 1,400 calls per year. This station is manned 24 hours a day. There is an unmanned second location at 34 N Adair Street.

Pryor has a multitude of physicians in our area along with Utica Park Clinic and Hillcrest Hospital Pryor. You have a variety of choices to fit your needs. Same day appointments are available at the clinic.

Whitaker Park has evolved into a marvelous meeting place. It has a walking trail, volleyball and basketball courts, covered picnic areas, a pavilion area for larger events, a splash pad in the summer months, an outdoor swimming pool, ducks, geese, and various playground equipment. During December it is full of Christmas lights. The park hosts Trader Days on the first weekend of the month from spring to fall. It is also a beginning point for 5k foot and bicycle races. This park is continuously vibrant with activities.

Centennial Park is the newest park in Pryor. You won't find monkey bars or swing sets, but you will find a walking path and a multitude of hands-on exercise challenges throughout the park. Brywn Wood housing addition backs up to the park on multiple properties. This park has a pavilion for shaded events, drinking fountains and public restrooms and is studded with large mature trees. What s happy spot to hangout.

The Pryor American Legion is a meeting place open to the community. They have Wednesday Bingo, Thursday Trivia Night and Monthly Friday Night Steak and Fish Dinners. It is a family-friendly environment. They host the Blue Star Mom's annual fundraiser to help support our deployed troops with monthly boxes. There is a multitude of things happening here.
