Take a stroll through this neighborhood, and you'll feel the priority placed on family. This community is built on top of rolling hills and covered in large trees. Bicycles abound in the daylight, and ice cream trucks are a common excitement. As the sun sets, it's a quiet village by dusk. All this should be no surprise, with a great elementary school, Chisolm, and a great middle school, Cimarron, anchoring either side of the neighborhood. Many children, including one of our own, still walk to school in this neighborhood. On the last day of school, the children have an annual "shaving cream fight." Several adults that grew up in Cheyenne Ridge have shared their childhood memories of this fun, foamy, annual tradition. Within a short walk, at Edmond's new hot spot, Shoppes At Cheyenne, you will find boutique shopping, awesome food, and great drinks! Nearby you can find lots of fun at Pelican Bay, Edmond's Aquatic Center, and E.C. Hafer Park, a great place for a picnic or a ballgame, and lots of other outdoor adventures at Lake Arcadia. The quick access to I-35 and the turnpike make getting around the metro a breeze, an item that should never be overlooked in our busy world.
