Although Altus offers a sampling of historical western traditions, there are new traditions also. Hunter Pointe is becoming one of those new traditions as home buyers are drawn to this subdivision. Many military families are buying in this area and seem to enjoy the easy pace and sense of community.
When I am there showing or checking on a listing, I always see residents out walking with their strollers. This addition is located close to the main gate of Altus Air Force Base. Homes range in price from $186,000 to $270,000 and are on spacious lots. There are many different floor plans available in the addition. Hunter Pointe also has unique street names that speak to the history of the area such as Deer Run, Javelina Drive, White Tail Drive and Cougar.
