Inola Oklahoma is located 30 minutes from downtown Tulsa on the 412 highway. It is a small town that still holds true to its roots. It is a rural farm and ranch community with a thriving Amish community spread between Inola and the neighboring city of Chouteau (SHOW-TOE). Its moniker is "Hay Capital of the World" due to the fine grass lands that abound in this area. You can truly get lost out here and feel that you have gone back in time. The fields of hay and open skylines are a Oklahoma treasure not to be missed. There are many large acreages of land for sale in Inola. Inola is a great place to live, but not really a destination for anything other than open hay fields, cows, horses, and the occasional friendly farm dogs. If you happen to be in or near Inola and are looking for something to see, Mike Fuller's Auto and Gas museum has a really neat vintage car collection that is not to be missed. Lots to see here and a great opportunity to take some pictures.

In the rolling hills of Wagoner, Rogers and Mayes Counties you will find hidden away behind long driveways, some amazing horse ranches with large 40 acre plus lots and beautiful green hills for horses to graze on. Stepping onto those quiet dirt roads you almost forget that you are still in Oklahoma and not in the blue hills of Kentucky. A great place for horse lovers.
