    Fishing Report Spring 2020

    Locals are reporting that the spring thaw and warm temperatures are showing an increase in the amounts of fish being caught out on Keystone Lake. Bass, Crappie and Catfish are all waking up and becoming active after their long winter's nap. The increase in warmer temperatures has kicked off the fishing season early this year and with great results. Speaking with people fishing from shore and a few that have come in off the lake showed off their catch and are having good luck on cut baits and live shad. I'm going to get over to the Dam at Keystone Lake this weekend to see how the fisherman are doing at the bottom of the lake. More to come.

    Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park Camp-Resort at Keystone Lake is scheduled to open its new and improved resort and water park this May 23, 2021. We have all been cooped up and covid-19 has cramped our lifestyles all year. The huge grand opening of Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park Camp-Resort at Keystone Lake did not happen last year, but this has given the owners more time to add and improve the facility.

    These improvements include three fishing docks and two playgrounds with basketball and volleyball courts. There is also a new state-of-the-art water zone complete with paddleboards, kayaks, and swimming areas. This includes a splash pad and pools. Don't let me forget the twin 200 ft. water slides. If you are looking for a great spot to boat, fish, camp, or play...check out Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park Camp-Resort at Keystone Lake this summer.
