One of the oldest parks in the city, Memorial Park was opened in 1902 as Putnam Park and renamed following World War I. It's home to over 30 species of trees as well as a playground, a basketball court, tennis courts, and a soccer field. On one side there's a Boys and Girls Club that features over 30,000 square feet of facilities, on the other you'll find a large four-tiered fountain nearing a century old. This is one of the best public parks in the city and offers something for just about everyone!
