    Faircloud is a desirable well established neighborhood located in East Edmond between Danforth and Coltrane and between Coltrane and Bryant. Faircloud is comprised of the original Faircloud (mostly the southern section) and Faircloud Hills (primarily the northern part) in Edmond. Faircloud has three entry points off of Danforth, Coltrane, and Covell with walking trails throughout.
    Faircloud Hills has homes for sale with sizes between 2300-3000 square feet and the original Faircloud consists of homes ranging between 3000-4500. Located in Edmond Schools: Northern Hills Elementary, Sequoyah Middle School and North High School. The majority of the homes were built from 1985-1997. Faircloud Hills has homes starting in the low $200,000's while Faircloud home prices are up to $500,000.

    There are neighborhoods that just set in your heart and Faircloud is one of them. Its popular in Northeast Edmond because it has stayed constant with values and has many amenities that new owners are looking for. The main entrance is off Danforth between Coltrane and Bryant. There are other entries from Coltrane and one off of Covell.

    One of the original developers was Bob Turner and looking at the layout you can tell that the addition was very thought out. There are over 32 acres of green belt and community area, two full ponds, one which is fishing ready, two playgrounds and a basketball court.

    The lots themselves are often over a ¼ acre, most have mature landscaping and trees, and the price point has continually seen gain’s throughout the ups and downs of the market. Of course another option to never leave off is that Faircloud belongs to Northern Hills Elementary.
    The addition itself is a ¼ mile from Kickingbird Golf Course and Tennis, and minutes from Hafer and Mitch Parks. The UCO campus is exactly one mile and I-35 access is within 1.5 miles. If location, value, and schools are important, Faircloud is a great place to call home.

    One of the more popular neighborhoods in NE Edmond has to be Faircloud. This wonderful community is located west of Coltrane, with access points off Danforth and Coltrane. You can't beat the location. It's just minutes from Kickingbird Golf Course, Hafer Park, Bryant and 2nd St.(the shopping district), UCO campus, and I-35 access.

    This sprawling neighborhood offers mature trees, various price points, and spacious lots. You can shop homes from $250,000 to $580,000. The average day on market over the past two years for the neighborhood is 46 days, with an average sale price of $348,000. Not too bad! The average age of construction is right at 1990, so keep this in mind if you desire newer trends and/or construction.

    What I love most about Faircloud for buyers is the location and school district, especially if they feel their time of ownership will be short. Obviously, the better the location and school district, the better the resale. If you are shopping NE Edmond, you need to check out Faircloud.
