4. Red River Rivalry – The Big One
Oct 11—mark it in red, mark it in historic gold, mark it with every ounce of crimson pride you’ve got. OU vs. Texas at the Cotton Bowl in Dallas—the Allstate Red River Rivalry. The Golden Hat trophy is at stake, the crowd will be a sea of burnt orange and crimson, and the whole nation will be watching. It’s more than a game—it’s a carnival on steroids!

5. Post-Rivalry Grit & Rivalries

The Medieval Fair will be held this weekend at Reaves Park located just south of Jenkins St. This is a free event with some fun activities. It is held annually and started in 1977! There will be arts and crafts, food, games, educational exhibits, demonstrations, and ongoing entertainment. Come enjoy this weekend from March 31, 2023, to April 02, 2023, from 10:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m.

Riverwind Casino is having the annual Beats & Bites on Saturday, May 28, 2022! Night Ranger and Starship with Mickey Thomas will perform live in the first Beats and Bites live music and food truck event of 2022. The event starts from 5-8 p.m.

What is so cool and different about this local cookie spot is they have cookies all made after different towns in Oklahoma! Strawberry, Blackberry cookies, and more. The building is 100 + years old and seems as if it was meant to be the "Cookie Cottage". Hurry and go grab some yummy treats; you will be so glad you did!
