Upon landing in Oklahoma County, one of my first driving journeys in an attempt to acquaint myself with my new home state, was through a neighborhood called Quail Creek. I instantly fell in love with this neighborhood, and can safely say four years later, that has not changed. Truly there is no way to describe Quail Creek. One must experience it for themselves. However, if required to do so, I could only etch it as a magical ride through a variety of majestic twisted trees, often creating an arbor over one's short trip. A peaceful creek runs through the area, accompanied by a rolling golf course and a handsome country club. The most wonderful character trait about this area is the uniqueness of the homes. There are no two alike! Each one is custom built with impeccable style and quality. Honestly, to target an average price range in this neighborhood can be difficult due to the vast differences in lot size, square footage and amenities. On a very lucky day you can pick up one of these beauties for $250,000, and every day after that could have a price tag of $500k +.The bulk of the homes were built during 1980-1989, and a secondary construction push from 1990 - 1999. The average homeowner has a bachelor’s degree or higher, and more than three fourths of its residents are owner-occupants. You will find it very close to shopping of every kind, especially The Quail Spring Mall. Theaters, restaurants, and commuting are all a stone's throw away. In my professional opinion...Quail Creek is one of the most visually dynamic neighborhoods in all of Oklahoma City! A must see!
