Maple Heights is an addition tucked inside Maple Ridge in mid-town Tulsa bordering E 17th Pl south to E 21st and S Peoria Ave to South Owasso Ave. It was the first Tulsa neighborhood to be listed in the Oklahoma Landmarks Inventory and was placed on the National Register on April 6, 1983. People who built their homes here between 1912-1932 made their wealth in the Glenn Poll Oil Strike and the Cushing strike in 1912. This area is one of the largest historic districts in Tulsa and is made up of two-story brick and clapboard mansions. Smaller two-story brick bungalows, Spanish stuccos, and adaptations of classical styles surround the area known as Maple Ridge.
