    I have received many calls from frustrated clients in the past looking for more size and space. The typical list includes new/newer construction, spacious lots with large bedrooms and living areas, preferably on one level, at an affordable price per square foot. Many of these buyers have shopped extensively, only to find themselves compromising their criteria. If this sounds like your wish list, you may want to check out Barrington of Edmond.

    Barrington sits just west of Western off Danforth. The neighborhood features homes on spacious lots, with desirable floor plans, at an affordable price per square foot. Barrington was established around 2006, with new construction still offered. However, the neighborhood is just about complete, so not too many lots left (if any at all) if you wish to custom build.

    Barrington offers a great location, within minutes of Edmond schools, shopping, and highway access. Also, Danforth (main access road) was just expanded to four lanes, so rush hour congestion around the neighborhood is a thing of the past. Barrington does not offer a community pool or clubhouse, so something to keep in mind as you shop neighborhood amenities.

    From a price standpoint, homes start around $350,000. The new construction is priced from $111-$119 per square foot, with existing resale averaging around $111 per square foot. This is very competitive vs. other neighborhoods around the same criteria. If size and space are a priority, you need to consider checking out Barrington.
