It's a relatively small neighborhood squared between 2nd, Boulevard, 9th and back side of Finch Park, but boy is it packed with some jewels! Whether your style of home is tiny Tudor from the 1920's, mid-century magnificent or massive colonial, you can find it in The Capital View addition. Due to the variety of home sizes (800 sq. ft. - 3,000 sq. ft.), styles and ages, home prices can range from $140k - $400k. Additionally, it can be a bit of a "wait list" for this area, so keep that in mind as you consider your time frame concerning your new home purchase.When inside this pocket neighborhood you feel as though you have taken a step back in time, as massive century old trees line the streets; yet, within three minutes you can be in the center of town enjoying all the new and modern businesses from Starbucks to Old Navy. Circling the perimeter of these various abodes of beauty is one of the quaintest streets in town...5th Street. There you will find the famous UCO Jazz Lab, Hideaway Pizza (the new kid on the block), Skinny Slim's Bar and the highly regarded Boulevard Steak House/Cafe 501. So, whether you want to take a course at the beautiful college university, listen to live music, indulge in a scrumptious meal, or simply sit on your charming wrap around porch...The Capital View Neighborhood is the place to be!
